Policies & Procedures

Safeguarding at St Neot's

St Neot’s Prep fully recognises the responsibility it has under section 157 of the Education Act 2002 to have arrangements in place to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

The school’s Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy is for all employees, peripatetic, contract and self-employed staff and volunteers. Our policy and procedures apply to all pupils across the school, including the Early Years Foundation Stage. This includes after school clubs and care.

The policy and procedures have been drawn up following the guidance on Keeping Children Safe in Education and DfE Working Together to Safeguard Children as well as the Independent School Standards. We follow Safer Recruitment procedures, putting the welfare and safety of our pupils above all else.

For further details or to express concerns about the school’s Safeguarding of pupils please contact the Deputy Head or the Head.
